Today many of us woke up to the news that a local sheriff's deputy was shot in the line of duty. I didn't know him and I don't know his family but his death affected me as it also affected many others in our area.His name was Kurt B. Wyman. He was age 24 and left behind a wife and child and a child on the way. He was active in his local church and had served his country in the marines. His wife went into labor this morning so his child's birthday will be the same day his or her father was killed. It's a tragedy all around. He had so much going for him.
Wyman's death reminds us all that life is short. It sounds like Wyman lived his life to the fullest which is what we should all take from this.
Officer Wyman will be missed. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
